This product the, Modern Mixing palette is a new innovative solution to a problem many artists professional or recreation have trouble with. Mixing the same color mutliple times on different occasions. These circular measurements create an easy and time efficent solution my breaking down color ratios so you can best recreate the color once again. This palette also comes with a pack of paper squares that lets you record in which sqaures you placed what color in order to get your final outcome. This paper is your reference sheet and it made to be used as a 'record' so when you need that specific color later you can mix it as quickly as possible and close as possible on the first try. Since this palette is plastic and reausable all you need to wash off your paint is some soap, water and sponge! Then make sure to air dry the palette or pat is down gently with a towel.
Since this palette or insert for a better word is just a plastic sheet its not very stiff, so keeping that in mind the shape and size of this palette makes this compatable with the Materson Sta-wet palette if you already have one at home and would like to place this inside. But if you don't have one of those don't worry! You don't need that to use this product!
